    Quicker and smoother

    Faster first downloads, and lots of fixes from early testing.

    • Videos download in 1080p unless you choose otherwise, so they’re ready much sooner.
    • The Download button stays in reach in a small window.
    • A failed download has a Copy Error Details button, so you can send what went wrong.
    • Dark mode is now the default, with light mode in beta.
    • Smoother scrolling, and lots of fixes for glitches and speed.

    ID4 for Mac

    The first version of ID4, made for Macs with Apple Silicon.

    • Save a video, just its audio, or a transcript from a link.
    • Keep just part of a video.
    • Paste lots of links or a whole playlist at once.
    • Copy a link in any app and press Control-Option-D to download it.
    • Updates install on their own when you quit.
